The owners had a good idea about what they wanted but 3D renderings and accurate sketches produced by BIM helped clarify the vision making it easier to progress to a working drawing in which materials may be ordered and components constructed. This system could be at home in a commercial setting yet excels in promoting the sturdiness and heft of this handsome residence. The heavy channel construction and extra wide precast concrete treads are prominent features of this stair a railing system.
ORNAMENTAL RAIL
Bison Metalworks inherited this residential project at about percent completion. The Installation of the upper level railing was the greatest challenge on this project. It had to brought in from the other side of the house and over the roof by hand! This extravagant display of ornamental iron is to be credited in part by King Architectural Metals, a manufacturer and supplier of forged and cast ornamental railing, stair, and gate components.
